On World Art Day, people around the globe celebrate the power of artistic expression and its impact on society. Art has always been a way to bring creativity, culture, and conversation into our lives.
We at Stingray are delighted to announce a significant new collaboration: we’re now a national media partner for the Canada’s Walk of Fame RBC Emerging Musician Program. Our goal is to provide a powerful platform to help Canada’s up-and-coming musical talents shine.
This partnership means emerging artists will get extensive national exposure. We’ll feature program winners and alumni across Stingray’s diverse platforms, including our TV channels, streaming services, digital offerings, and radio stations.
A major highlight is the upcoming launch of a dedicated Canada’s Walk of Fame music channel on Stingray Music in October 2025. This new channel will be a prime destination to discover and enjoy the incredible music from artists supported by this program, alongside celebrating the iconic sounds of past Canada’s Walk of Fame Inductees.

Are you a Canadian artist or group aged 15 to 35? This is your chance! Submissions for the 2025 Canada’s Walk of Fame RBC Emerging Musician Program are open until Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST. The program offers career-defining prizes and development experiences valued at over $100,000.
Selected artists will receive cash prizes, opportunities to perform at major Canadian festivals and events, valuable mentorship, and, crucially, features on our new Stingray channel dedicated to Canada’s Walk of Fame.
