The future of in-car entertainment has arrived, and Stingray is in the driver’s seat. We are proud to announce that our groundbreaking interactive vocal scoring system for Stingray Karaoke has been named a finalist for the prestigious Emerging Technology Award at the 5th Annual DEG EnTech Awards.
 
This achievement was made possible by the talented Stingray team, led by Alexandre Benoit, Senior Project Manager, and Pierre Woroniak, Project Manager IT Dev. The core team also included Shuai Zhang, Andy Su, Olivier Monpetit, Steven Chan, Jean Sébastien Ruest, Martin Gauthier, and Hervé Desrosiers.
 

This nomination celebrates the revolutionary technology at the heart of our new in-car karaoke experience, launched in partnership with leading automaker BYD. The system transforms any car ride into a live competition with a first-of-its-kind scoring mode, powered by Singing Machine’s state-of-the-art microphones. At its core is the upcoming proprietary Perfect Pitch technology, which offers real-time vocal analysis and pitch correction, turning every karaoke session into a fun, interactive game. Singers can experiment with professional-grade vocal effects—from a concert hall echo to a studio-quality finish—and access a massive library of over 100,000 licensed songs.
