Stingray Set to Launch an all-4K Music Video TV Channel

Montreal, June 23, 2017 – Stingray (TSX: RAY.A; RAY.B), a leading business-to-business multi-platform music and in-store media solutions provider, today announced the imminent launch of an all-4K music television channel. The only 4K television channel made in Canada will launch in July 2017 and will be offered to all pay TV providers across the country.

The new channel, developed with the needs of Canadian audiences in mind, complements Stingray’s existing 4K offering: Stingray Ambiance 4K and Stingray Festival 4K. Stingray thus confirms its position as the leading provider of 4K television content and demonstrates its commitment to delivering an unrivaled, state-of-the-art viewing experience.

“Stingray is always forging ahead and breaking new ground,” said Eric Boyko, President, Co-founder, and CEO of Stingray. “Technology never stops evolving, and neither does Stingray. The Canadian market craves 4K television content and we are more than happy to respond to demand. This launch reinforces the importance we place on enhancing the viewing experience for our clients and their subscribers through continued innovation.”

Stingray’s 4K music video channel will feature a visually-stunning, non-stop, and commercial free programming of today’s greatest hits, indie gems, and clips by up-and-coming artists from around the world.
